Helping with the Horses

Logan has been to visit his Abuela twice this summer, and has loved every trip!! His TiTi Jennifer is home from school for the summer, so Logan has been able to spend lots of time with her as well. He loves TiTi Jennifer and her horses. She let him help out with the chores. Which is right up his alley!! He helped feed and take care of the horses and he even got to ride one!!! For days after his trip all he talked about was Jennifer's Nays!!! He can't wait to go back soon!

Mickey's House

Sorry it has been so long since our last post, we have been one busy family. We just returned from our week long vacation to Florida. We spent the first part of the week in Melbourne, where we played on the beach everyday and spent lots of time with The Papa and Nana Om - Logan had a ball. We went to the Brevard Zoo, where Logan met Mama Jaguar and rode his first train. Then we left for Orlando - or should I say Mickey's House. At first I think Carl and I were more excited about the trip - until Logan got to meet Mickey Mouse - he was so excited!! We rode lots of rides, met the characters and even stayed for the parade, which was a big hit!! By then it was time to get our ears and head home!! Needless to say - this was a wonderful hit for Logan, as we were driving to school this morning, I asked Logan if he knew where we were going, and he, of course, said - Mickey's House!!!!

Happy Father's Day

For Father's Day - we enjoyed spending the day with Daddy. Logan and I let Carl sleep in and made his favorite breakfast of pancakes and sausage. Then we traveled to Inman to see Pops and Grams. We had a ball - we went swimming, checked on the cows and chickens, rode the golf cart and even ate homemade ice cream. That was definitely fun for Logan - I still am not sure if more hit the ground or got in his mouth!! He loved the pool and even jumped off the diving board to daddy.

Play Wonderland

Last weekend we took Logan to the outlet mall beside Carowinds. Carl's company renovated this mall and he saw photos of the play center they had and knew it would be a hit with Logan. They recreated it with a Latin American theme. It's all inside, but it's as if you're walking around in a old Spanish village with fountains and cobblestone streets. It was such a neat area and we loved watching the dancers, it was wonderful. The highlight of this mall, for Logan, was the play center in the middle of the food court. It is 5 storys high with anything you can imagine inside.

Immediately after seeing the play area - Logan was pulling off his shoes. It was so adorable -it's so funny $1 to play is the best thing in the world to him! I love the innocence and excitement in him!

Everything Daddy does......

As I mention over and over - Logan loves his daddy! Whatever daddy does, Logan is right there beside him. Carl was relaxing on the couch before dinner watching the news, and of course Logan decided he needed to relax also. (you know - because he has such a rough life!) So, Logan grabbed his fav Thomas chair and pulled up to the ottoman so he could kick up his feet. I was making dinner and went to ask them a question and could not resist some pics of my favorite boys watching the evening news together!!

Water Babies

Yesterday Haley came to play with Logan and with the weather so HOT - we decided to break in the kiddie pool. They had a blast and were so cute splashing around. Haley even gave Logan a hug!! They have a great time playing together.

Just watching the fish.....

Logan is such a good helper around the house and his favorite is helping Daddy feed the fish. Last night Logan was insistent on Carl sitting with him and watching the fish eat. They are so adorable together - best buds!
